Every year at Anchor Marketing, we take on a business or organization as our client. Over the course of the year, we develop a comprehensive, multifaceted marketing strategy to meet their needs. Radical Shoots (Spring 2025)
Radical Shoots, a growing microgreens business, faced the challenge of expanding market reach while preserving its commitment to high-quality, nutrient-dense products. We provided a comprehensive analysis of the microgreens industry and strategic recommendations for Radical Shoots to increase recurring orders and preorders direct to consumers. This included solutions such as creating an email list and newsletter, consistently creating social media content, optimizing the website, implementing project timelines and budgets, and focusing on popular microgreen varieties.
Finnleys (Spring 2025)
Finnleys is a boutique clothing company operating in the fast-paced women’s fashion retail industry. We conducted a comprehensive analysis of the boutique fashion industry, along with Finnleys’ operations, to identify core challenges in the areas of brand loyalty, social media engagement, and website design. We proposed solutions such as implementing email promotions and discounts, enhancing Instagram initiatives, redesigning the website, launching an ambassador program, and hosting local pop-up events to help Finnleys increase online revenue and strengthen its market position.
Cocorico (Spring 2025)
Cocorico is a French bakery café in Nashville located near Vanderbilt campus. Anchor Marketing student consultants identified opportunities to enhance the customer experience and maximize revenue generation at the brick-and-mortar location. We proposed solutions such as improving the menu with product images and dietary information, upgrading exterior signage to increase visibility and communicate parking details, establishing brand consistency across online and offline channels, and optimizing the in-store flow to drive traffic past high-potential merchandise.
JuicePharm (Spring 2025)
JuicePharm is a small, yet growing juice and smoothie bar in Nashville’s Midtown area. We conducted a comprehensive analysis of the juice and smoothie bar industry and JuicePharm’s operations, identifying core challenges in the business’s branding, online presence, customer loyalty, and day-to-day operations. We proposed solutions such as emphasizing the health benefits of JuicePharm’s menu items, solidifying consistent hours, expanding the business’s social media and community presence, revamping the customer loyalty program, and improving the storefront and website to boost visibility and engagement.
Pilates Garage (Fall 2024)
Pilates Garage is a premier Pilates studio focused on providing a welcoming and personalized experience for its clients. Anchor Marketing’s student consultants conducted an in-depth analysis of Pilates Garage’s operations to address retention challenges. We recommended strategies to convert ClassPass users into regular Pilates Garage customers, including enhanced trainer bios, a social media content plan, targeted email marketing, and the implementation of a print-on-demand merchandise program.
Little Art House (Fall 2024)
Little Art House is a leading provider of art education and enrichment programs looking to establish franchising. Anchor Marketing’s student consultants recommended a two-part franchising strategy, including a comprehensive Franchise Benefits Package and a conversion funnel to effectively recruit and support prospective franchisees. By leveraging Little Art House’s strong brand identity and emulating successful personal service franchises, this strategy aims to position the company for successful franchising expansion.
Centennial Park (Fall 2024)
Anchor Marketing’s student consultants conducted an extensive analysis of Centennial Park, identifying opportunities to enhance the visitor experience through updated signage, expanded programming, and technological upgrades. Our recommendations aimed to position Centennial Park as a premier destination that showcases the city of Nashville’s rich history and natural beauty while meeting the evolving needs and expectations of its diverse audience.
Greenery Co (Fall 2024)
Greenery is a local fast casual salad restaurant located in Hillsboro. We helped to identify core challenges related to a high turnover rate. The student consultants proposed solutions including improving the feedback system, shifting to more positive rhetoric, enhancing onboarding and continuous training, and introducing new employee engagement and retention programs.
Glow (2023-24)
Glow is an Austin-based tech startup building technology that helps people plan IRL experiences. We helped Glow to create a wide variety of marketing strategies ranging from social media advertising to a new brand identity. We also helped Glow to explore new client outreach programs through the development of a brand ambassador program and a business to business strategy. To see the work we produced for Glow click here.
Fighters Nashville (2022-23)
Fighters Nashville is a local boxing gym. For this project, we helped Fighters to develop a cohesive brand identity and to communicate that identity clearly. We presented a strategy that included recommendations for website enhancements, social media campaigns, member mobilization tactics, and new organizational pillars.
Lifestyle Decluttering Coach (2021-22)
Anchor Marketing partnered with a local decluttering coach to develop an effective marketing strategy aimed at growing her business. We boosted her online presence, optimized her website for better user experience and SEO, and established a cohesive brand identity. We also helped to automate her marketing processes, including social media management and client review solicitation.
Best Buddies (2020-21)

Weddings at Vanderbilt (2019-20)
We helped Weddings at Vanderbilt promote their services in a crowded market for special-events hosting. We did this through developing target markets and social media content strategies for Weddings at Vanderbilt to connect with potential clients. We also recommended thorough website revisions to update their online presence and provide a more efficient user experience on the site.
VandyRadio (2018-19)
VandyRadio is a student-run radio station on Vanderbilt’s campus. For this project, we focused on conducting on campus research to identify ways for the station to better connect with their listeners and increase its brand awareness. Based on this research, we proposed a strategy for VandyRadio that included a combination of direct advertising and community events.
International Student Council (2017-18)
International Student Council (ISC) is an organization whose mission is to integrate the students from different cultural groups all over the world. For this project, we focused on increasing community engagement with the organization, including promoting their annual fashion show.
